That's it. That's why I like Kroger - because of their produce department. It sounds pretty silly, I know. And it wouldn't make as much of a difference if I couldn't find other groceries I like there, too. So that's my story. That's why I shop at Kroger. Besides the fact that I can walk there. Yes, convenience is definitely a factor. But I wouldn't keep shopping there if I didn't like it. And the produce thing does make me like it a little more - especially since I know of at least one other major store that does not sell loose carrots. Not that they're, well, rolling around loose and have to be round up (rounded up?) and corralled twice a day or anything like that. No, they're just sitting there calmly on the shelf, waiting for me to come buy some of them.
I don't even buy carrots all that often, actually. I just appreciate the fact that they have this. I don't know if they did it intentionally for single people and/or smaller families. But I appreciate it just the same.
